Did I Do That?

Wow...rubbing shoulders with "royalty"!

Since Bob and Dar don't have a "blog", we'll post this for them!

Let's Play Ball!!!! (again)

Well, today was the first day of practice for fall baseball. Jake and Josh received their team assignments a couple days ago. There are no try outs for fall ball, just a draft. Jake has a coach that is new to Burleson, he moved from Crowley this summer. But he is originally from Ohio, coming here in 97. So I do not think it is by chance that Coach Kress is the coach of THE CLEVELAND INDIANS WAHOO! We are just delighted about that! As is Jake!

Josh also started today...on the San Francisco Giants. His coach is Coach Scott Wagner. His team is young, alot of the kids played coach-pitch in the spring season, and I know of at least one kid that has never played. So we shall se how that goes...wish they were on the same team. Jake moved up from Mustang to Bronco, so there was no chance of that. At least the games are all at home at our complex, so I will not have to try to be at two places at once.

Looking forward to a great season, I'll keep you posted!

I'm Mall over this stupid cache!!

The name of this geocache was "I'm Mall over it" Well we went around the mall for a bout 3 hours looking for clues to decrypt the code that contained the coordinates to this cache. We got them and could not find the prize! So we gave up. But we still had a great time playing around in the mall!

The last clue was finally found at Johnny Rockets...life is good.

You all know I love Superman, right?!

Some crazy night-time fun with the Vossen's at like One in the morning!

We did another night cache...well technically, this was not a night cache, but we did it at night, so we call it a night cache....have to say, it is hard to see the poison ivy you are standing in when it is pitch black!!!! We will keep our fingers crossed that none of us have any breakouts.
Self portait,...can you tell?!
Had to take a picture of this tree. It is probably millions and millions of years old! just kidding!

Discovering "True Love"

Boy meets Girl...or should I say Jeep meets T-bird?! I hope she isn't too racey! You know what thay say about those "red cars"!

Bumpity Bump!!!!

This was the coolest cache we ever did! It was a night cache with reflectors to lead the way, along with clues, a scrambled combination, and a 2 mile hike in the woods at night! We loved it!

Jake and Josh got to go to Ci Ci's Pizza Wednesday with their Baseball team. They really enjoyed getting to see the guys from the Cincinatti Red's team! Not to mention eating 12 slices of pizza each.

Jake and Todd went looking for the "Green Jeep Travel Bug". Well it wasn't easy, but they did it! Then we placed it a couple of caches later, after some adventures for the Jeep of course....the theme was discover. Rumor has it he discovered true love.

Everyone should have a blog!

So for all of you who have visited and enjoyed looking at our Vossen Family Blog, we would like to encourage you to start one of your own. It is so nice to be able to see what our friends and family are up to, this way. So you know who you are...please start one(Bob and Dar, Leah, Mom, Dorothy,Doug and Mary, Leanne and Darrell, everyone!) It is free and easy! I am not a wordsmith, so ours is mostly pictures...but for those who want to just post commentary....that is fine too. A lot of blogs are like that. We have been able to inspire several of our friends, and even our Sunday School class, to start one. So hopefully I will be getting some emails rolling in with all my loved ones new blog address.
